Contents

Unlike *storming*, breezing is a side activity, not directly aimed at stimulating ideas, but rather wandering around idea-related topics. Userbreezing are additional interactive participant-generated activities in the spirit of the camp. Userbreezing takes place in the 3 UB (UserBreezing) rooms and includes regular activites like discussions, workshops, etc around topics in the spirit of the camp: ideas, creativity, technology, trends, research, commercialization of ideas, etc.

=== 1. Collaberative Telephony Fraud Detection and Prevention ===

Have you ever been hit by telephony fraud of some sort, I know I have. Today, fraud management and profit leakage systems, mainly in the telecoms industry, are a thing reserved to the Tier-1 carrier - usually costing millions of the dollars. In all cases, the end consumer is left unprotected and is usually held accounted for the fraud - even when the customer is the one that had suffered the attack.

The purpose of this UserBreezing session is to introduce the Breezers to a new community oriented project (currently still in early development stages) - a collaberative approach to fraud analysis, detection and maybe even prevention. Our objective is to discuss various issues that are directly related to sharing telephony related information between peers, the various aspects of privacy, security, information leakage - and most importantly - try to figure out what is the best track to take in order to collaberate information between companies - that may be in direct competition to one another.

=== 2. Workshop: Playing with Affinity Diagrams ===

Did you ever played (brainstormed) with an idea (managerial, product, experience, design, what ever) and couldn't cover all bases, explore all options, or lost track on quality results?
Let's play a little with this basic UX tool, to learn how to experience with ideation, brainstorming and innovation, and then organize our thoughts together using this effective tool.
Ideas for topics to brainstorm on in this workshop will be welcomed. Send me a message, so I could prepare ahead.

=== 3.Discussion: Can an entrepreneur be made?===

I would like we play around with this concept. Do we really have an answer or maybe as I suspect there isn't a straight clear answer. I invite all experience entrepreneurs in the Kamp to come and contribute from their owe experience.

=== 4. The Art of Persuasion===

Being Creative is great, but useless if you can't persuade other about what a genius you are.

The power of being able to get people to say YES to you is, in my opinion, as a powerful tool as Superman's X-ray vision or ability to fly.

And you don't need to be from Crypton to master this skill...!

So...you want to learn how to make your roommates\spouse do the dishes for you?

Or, how to close the next deal at work? Or maybe how to get your workers to actually do the things they promised they will do today?

Come and learn the simple yet proven Art of Persuasion.

=== 5. Something in between banji jumping and being paralyzed ===

Did you ever see "brave" decisions

turn out to be reckless moves ?
What makes entrepreneurs and business women/men gamblers ?
I would like to discuss about the constant tension that exist between profits pursuing and the need to minimize risks.
To define what is a manageable risk and to think how we can implement risk managment in our vision setting.
In light of the biggest economic crisis in the history, we can also ask ourselves what to risk management and social responsibility.

=== 6. Breaking the traditional Book/eBook models ===

Discussion and brainstorming about innovative e-book publishing, reading, interaction and business models that would benefit both authors and readers. The book market is in a frenzy, on one hand we have traditional print book publishers that own the content, and on the other it’s a jungle of new devices, readers, destination sites, social sites, and online stores.

=== 7. Discussion/workshop: Crowd Sourcing / Amazon Mechanical Turk

Amazon says that the Amazon Mechanical Turk is one of their most innovative module of their Amazon Web Services Cloud Computing modules. In this workshop we will investigate what is the Amazon Mechanical Turk (AMT) and what’s so innovative about it.  We will go over the various HITs (Human Intelligence Tasks) offered today on the AMT "market place", and try to explore what new business/ solutions they can enable, as well as how different / new HITs can be of value.   We will also discuss several new businesses that already exist today as a result of the availability of Crowd Sourcing platforms, and the advantages they have over the more “traditional” business models.

=== 8. Opening the government data to the citizens ===

Both the US and UK governments have launched open data programs which aims to increase public access to high value, machine readable datasets generated by a variety of government agencies. In this session we will discuss the current state of government data in Israel, the potential and what can be done with this data.
