In human anatomy, the appendix'''' is a blind ended tube connected to the cecum, from which it develops embryologically ... the biological purpose of the appendix has mystified scientists for some time...

NUDNIC of Appendistorming - Gadi Shimshon. Please coordinate any activity with him.

Appendixstorming is the name for a group of innovative fun activities, different from cortexstorming, aimed at stimulating generation and sharing of ideas. These activities are not widely recognized as ideas-stimulating and their contribution to inspiration is mystified, and EureKamp will serve, as usual, as a testing ground for them. It is an attempt to "storm" idea generation from an innovativeunusual, mystically related (but still fun) direction.

There will be 5 appendixstorming activities in EureKamp, each 1-hour long, all in the appendixstorming hall. You're welcome to participate and also to suggest your own type of activity. In case there will be more than 5 suggested activities, we will choose the coolest 5.

"I Hate It" Therapy

We will substitute pricey psychologists with a free stage for all those who really hate something and try to help them with a practical solution to their problem. Each participant will have 3-5 min to present what they hate - each presentation should start with "I Hate". We will have a prize for the most artistical "I Hate" performance.

Host: TBA

Participants:

Practicing Communties of Practice

A fun introduction to Communities of Practice (CoPs). We will think together about thinking together. We will experience various aspects of CoPs - what makes them tick, what makes them effective, and what makes them super effective. Instead of going through the boring theory we will experience working as a CoPs by brainstorming over problems, dilemmas and challenges raised by the participants.

The Objectives:

1. Fun.

2. Networking.

3. Brainstorming.

4. Experience what makes a community thinking and learning process so effective.

Hosts: Israel Blechman, Eran Carmel and Niv Calderon

So what are you waiting for.?! Join the activity suggest a brainstorming theme:

          • Is it possible to visualize social networks using Twitter's API?
          • how do I make a lot of money in a short period of time without getting shot or arrested?
          • How do I get info to Israeli IT CEOs about the many benefits of outsourcing to Palestinian companies instead of India+China?

Host: TBD

=== Participants (add your eureklets here, see format description below): ===

The Format

is same as cortexstorming (8 mins for presenstation, a cue of presenters) - but the concept is to talk about real findings, tips or hacks that you found/made and enriching the listeners.

So it's basically your real-life "Eurekas", or in other words a "lifehacking marathon". Target is to share knowledge and most importantly to learn.

The Topics

You can talk really about anything - from computer hacks, tech, relationships, food, preparing for a meeting, making a diet, working out, reading fast, manaing rss feeds - anything really that is a cool "lifehack". Not just tech hacks - that's for sure.

The items can be phrased in a way that will intrigue people to come and listen - like "How to", "Tips on" "Hacking" etc.
